This year the Water Authority budgeted 11.31 miles of chip sealing on the Delta-Mendota Canal.  This road parallels the canal along the 116 miles from Tracy to Mendota.  The equipment and road crew had to cross seven busy county roads near Tracy and climb steep hills with machinery.  These pictures show the process and the obstacles the Tracy and Los Banos crews had to overcome.
