Members of Congress Call on President to Act

In separate letters to President Obama, Senator Feinstein, House Majority Leader McCarthy with other House Republicans , and Congressman Jim Costa wrote seeking executive action directing Administration officials to capture water at the Delta pumps.  The letters called for the President to direct the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, National Marine Fisheries Service, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to maximize pumping to the fullest extent possible under the Endangered Species act based upon science, not intuition.
