The Delta-Mendota Canal (DMC) check and wasteway structure's radial gates have reached their useful life. Corrosion has caused deterioration of the steel components. The San Luis and Delta-Mendota Water Authority (SLDMWA) decided to replace the gate trunnions and arms and recondition the gate leafs.
