It was decided that the vegetation around the Jones Pumping Plant was becoming a fire hazard. The normal way of disking the ground was not applicable due to the steep slope surrounding the plant. The Water Authority decided to use the services of Goats-R-Us to clear the vegetation. Goats are commonly used by other agencies for similar jobs. As you can see by these photos the goats did a great job in the 3 1/2 days they were here to clear approximately 5 acres.
