It was decided that the vegetation near the Jones Pumping Plant Intake Channel has become a fire hazard.  The normal way of disking the ground was not applicable due to the terrain. The Water Authority decided to use the services of a local farmer to control the vegetation.  These Boer goats do a great job clearing the vegetation 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
