This year the Water Authority drained the compound water treatment plant basin in order to replace the septum and weir boards.  In addition, it was noted that one of the pier columns and retaining walls needed some concrete repair work.  The crew exposed, sand blasted, and patched the concrete.  After installation of the redwood boards and completion of the repair work, the control operators opened the water valves and refilled the basin.
